Random Poetry
A lot of my poetry is religious and sometimes dark. It is it also inspired by ancient Japanese mythology. Hopefully those who read it will like it. I have only posted two poems, but I will post more in the future.
She lay at her throne before her followers,
Her heart has been raped by her lost lover,
She waited for him night and day,
Yet his return has been delayed,
She endlessly thought of him in vain,
He left to fight for her celestial domain,
She could no longer bare not having him there,
Seppuku left her gown bloody and stained,
They found her body before the throne,
Her people mourned her fate,
But when the knight returned,
He saw it was too late,
As the sun sets in the horizon,
My body starts to tremble,
Never did I think you would grow,
To be an iconic symbol,
The setting sun takes me back to what was lost long ago,
Try as I may I can’t fight the tears my love,
As the light dies, the pain still grows,
Where are you my lady?
Your soothing auroras are craved,
I thirst for your glorious rise,
But that has been delayed,
Until then, I will wait for your great return,
Your martyrs will see your beautiful face,
And their insides will burn,
I shall pray for you princess and your bright caress,
My faith in you still lives strong,
Your power cannot be suppressed.
